Our Gym

The gym operates by appointment only, which ensures that it is never overcrowded, and that your routines are largely uninterrupted. You can either have one-to-one personal training or you can come to use the gym by yourself. Also, if you attend the clinic for injury treatment, the use of the gym may form an integral part of your full rehabilitation.

Our rehabilitation gym is extensively equipped with high-grade commercial machines:
  • Three treadmills
  • Cross-trainer
  • Versa-climber
  • Concept 2 rowing machine
  • Exercise bike
  • 10 Nautilus resistance machines, covering all major muscle groups
  • Nautilus Smith machine
  • Extensive range of dumbbells, up to 70kg
  • Kettle bells
  • Medicine balls
  • Fully equipped boxing suite which includes heavy bags, dummies, punch ball, speed ball, floor-to-ceiling ball and a range of gloves and boxing aids
  • On-site luxury power-shower facilities

… and much more! If you need more information, do contact us.

The gym has undergone an upgrade:

  • We have upgraded our heavy dumbbells to state-of-the-art, polyurethane-encased, Technogym dumbbells which have ergonomically designed rotating handles to limit undue stress on the joints during usage.
  • Our pulley mechanism has been upgraded to an top-of-the-range Tehnogym Ercolina rehab machine which allows for virtually limitless adjustment to suit any rehabilitation program.
  • We have a new Concept 2 SkiErg which is a specialist cardiovascular piece of equipment designed to simulate skiing movement. It is an unusual cardiovascular machine in that it promotes aerobic exercise for the upper body.
  • We have a new TechnogymVarioStrider: a technologically advanced cross-trainer which adapts to the user's stride length and can be used as either an elliptical trainer, an arc trainer or a stepper.
